This costs the most, and it saves the most. Nothing is locked yet, so every improvement is still available: a sharper question, a design that will clear committee, instruments that measure what you actually need. Most delays I see are not statistics problems. They are questions, designs, and instruments that were never going to line up, discovered a year too late.

We work out what you actually want to know, what would count as an answer, and what it will take to get one. Then everything downstream is built on something solid.

Your design is approved, which settles the plan but not whether the plan will work. We check that the instruments measure what your questions need, that your sampling and power will support the analysis, and that the data you are about to gather will answer the question you were approved to ask.

Then I run the analysis when your data land, and stay with you through the results chapter and the defense.

The most common place students find me. Your data are in, and the analysis is the wall. We screen the data, run what your questions call for, and go through every number until you can say why each choice was made.

You write the dissertation. I make sure the quantitative side is right, and that you can defend it without me in the room.
